Metaphysical Supplements is made from over 100,000 frames generated by an AI trained on images of landscapes. The land itself never appears — only a slow drift through what might once have been detail, now worn down by repetition. The video doesn’t try to reconstruct nature, only to gesture toward the machinery that attempts to. What emerges is a kind of ambient residue: a system circling its own limitations, producing images that forget what they were built to remember. It plays out like a monument to failure shaped by repetition— quiet, continuous, and uneasy.
